Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced operation, while maintaining poise and hospitality.
- Prepare layouts based on guest count, client needs, and staffing level. Review all contract details with the crew and set expectations for the event.
- Manage onboard team throughout the event. Direct and help team as needed while being a gracious host to guests onboard.
- Assign and direct crew in their position related responsibilities, including side work, resets, and cleaning of F&B areas.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull and lift items up to 50 pounds.
- Direct and lead set up/tear down before and after shift.
- Monitor and evaluate all food, beverage, and service quality during events. Be a host with guests and ensure satisfaction is being met throughout cruise/event experience.
- Able to think of their feet and problem solve.
- Support the staff with all safety requirements, while communicating essential information regarding the event.
- Keep all vessels in “Show-Ready” condition.
- Completion of Senior Deckhand training, including, but not limited to, vessel operations, fire safety, CPR/AED, line handling, and First Aid (preferred).
- Be proactive in communicating with General Manager, Operations Manager, and Operations Coordinator when work order is needed or supplies are low.
- Responsible for accurately filling out reports (event reports, or injuries). Confirm information with the captain and have them send to appropriate parties.
- This position requires pre and random drug testing as mandated by the U.S. Coast Guard.
Desired Background:
- 3 years working in the hospitality industry
- Minimum 1 year as a Manager/Supervisor in Food & Beverage
- Understands the importance of safety in the workplace and adheres to all mandated standards
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Work Schedule:
- Bulk of business occurs nights, weekends and holidays so availability during those times is a must. A flexible schedule is required.
Compensation:
- $22/an hour (+ tips)

- Oversees staff, including bartenders and barbacks, and, in some cases wait staff as well.
- Manage bar equipment maintenance.
- Maintain vendor relationships.
- Use point-of-sales tracking technology and bar and restaurant management platforms and update accordingly with new products.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in a hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with and commitment to alcohol service regulations.
- Basic financial management skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Required to obtain any necessary alcohol service certifications or licenses.
Compensation and Schedule:
- Pay: $25+ tips (after training)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- General:
- Maintain QuickBooks Online Advanced and HomeBase Employee Management software and QuickBooks vendor relationship.
- Weekly:
- Post all transactions into Company books.
- Assist Controller and SFO with posting EOM closing journal entries.
- Confirm that all support documentation for posted transactions is properly filed
- Provide CFO with list of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable at EOW.
- Make deposits of all funds received in cash or by check on Tuesday and Friday each week.
- Pay all vendor invoices listed in Accounts Payable as directed by CFO each Friday.
- Biweekly:
- Manage preparation of the biweekly payroll for submission to HomeBase Employee Management
- Submit payroll for payment to HomeBase on Wednesday, every other week.
- Issue checks to employees not enrolled in direct deposit on Friday, every other week.
- Reconcile the General Ledger biweekly at EOW.
- Monthly:
- Adjust inventories (food, beverage, supplies and fuel) at EOM.
- Prepare journal entries for Accounts Receivable and Revenue with summary information from Caterease and Fareharbor revenue management software platforms.
- Assist Controller in filing of all business tax reports on or about the 25th of each month.
- Participate in EOM meeting with Controller and CFO for EOM reconciliation.
- Prepare the EOM trial balance for review by Controller and CFO.
- Review EOM trial balance with CFO by 6th of the month following EOM.
- Prepare EOM Financial Statements for CFO approval.
- Publish EOM Financial Statements by the 10th of the month following EOM.
- Complete Monthly Financial Performance Report for CFO, GM and CSMO by the 15th of the month following EOM from Excell templates maintained withing QB Online Advanced.
- Quarterly:
- Enter quarterly revised budget prepared by CFO into QBO by EOQ1, Q2, Q3 and Q4.
- Assist Controller in preparing quarterly tax returns.
- Annual:
- Enter annual budget prepared by CFO into QB by BOM January.
- Manage the issuance of 1041s to all employees and ex-employees by EOM January.
- Manage the issuance of 1099s to all eligible vendors by EOM January.
- Assist Controller and CFO to close books at EOY so all EOY federal, state, and local tax returns are submitted on a timely basis by EOM February each year.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated understanding of accrual accounting
- Familiarity with and mastery of QuickBooks Online Advanced.
- Familiarity with and mastery of MS Excel.
- Certified QuickBooks Online and Microsoft certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of on-the job experience in bookkeeping/accounting
Compensation and Schedule:
- Average 30 hours per week
- $30-40 per hour based on experience.
- Part-time employee or independent contractor
- Remote and/or on-site officing.
- On-site work on Tuesday and Friday each week for at least 4 hours/day.

- Duties include basic prep for the main kitchen, peeling, cutting, searing, grilling, boiling, blanching, fruit trays, stocks, portioning proteins, etc.
- Responsible for daily prep list, loading food on vessels within designated timeframe, and opening and closing of the galley kitchen.
- Plating hot food, setting up buffets, and following dinner service timeframe while working closely with FOH staff.
