A Waterfront Thanksgiving Dinner and Dessert Cruise at The Lakeside Event Center

Waterways Cruises, the upscale Seattle Lakes sightseeing and private event cruise operator is offering a unique Thanksgiving Dinner Event at The Lakeside Event Center, complete with a full gourmet dinner buffet and hour long sightseeing Dessert Cruise of Lake Union.

Reservations are accepted for seating at The Lakeside from 12 pm to 5 pm, with three spectacular buffet stations. The main station will offer a traditional Thanksgiving buffet with selections such as turkey, ham, prime rib, potatoes and gravy.  The second station will feature a Smoked Salmon Table with home-made salmon freshly prepared and presented by Waterways own Executive Chef. Chef Udo will explain the Pacific Northwest culture and process of salmon smoking during the presentation.  The third station will feature seasonal desserts such as pumpkin pie, cranberry bread, apple cobbler and other delectable treats. 

 

This unique waterfront Thanksgiving Day event includes a complimentary Dessert Cruise Tour of Lake Union aboard one of the company’s luxurious touring yachts. The one-hour sightseeing cruise will highlight Seattle’s landmarks on Lake Union’s shores and their history, accompanied by live narration by the Waterways’ Captains.  Dessert stations with seasonal treats will be available aboard the cruise. Full service bars, located at both The Lakeside and aboard the company’s elegant touring yachts, will feature handcrafted holiday beverages, such as mulled wines and specialty coffee drinks

 

The Thanksgiving Dinner Event is scheduled for Thursday, November 26, 2009 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm at The Lakeside Event Center located at 2501 N. Northlake Way in Seattle.  Ticket prices for the buffet dinner and combined with the complimentary cruise are $59.95 for adults, $49.95 for seniors and military personnel, $24.95 for children (5-11 years old) and free for children under 5 years of age.  Discounts are available for groups of eight or more guests. Tickets can be conveniently purchased online at www.waterwayscruises.com or by phone at 800-979-3370.  Guests only interested in the one hour Dessert Cruise of Lake Union, can purchase cruise tickets at $19.95 for adults, $17.95 per person for seniors and military, and $11.95 for children (5-11 years old). Children under 5 are free when accompanied by an adult. The Waterways Cruises Dessert Cruise departs at 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm from the Waterways homeport dock located at The Lakeside Event Center on north Lake Union
