Waterways Launches New Book Signing Cruise Tours of Lake Washingtons Mansions

Seattle, WA – September 15, 2009  - Waterways Cruises and Events, the upscale Seattle based sightseeing and private event cruise operator, and the acclaimed author David Dykstra, launch a series of new scenic cruise tours featuring mansions described in Dykstra’s book "Lake Washington 130 Homes."

 The new Book Signing Cruise Tours will take guests aboard the sleek Olympic Star for specially designed tour routes along Lake Union’s and Lake Washington shores.  During this educational 2 1/2 hour tour, David Dykstra and the Waterways Captain will offer interesting background information on the magnificent mansions, some only clearly visible from the water, on the shores of at Hunts Point, Medina and Madison Park.  Dykstra’s "Lake Washington 130 Homes" book can be purchased onboard and additionally signed by the author upon request. 

 

The first Book Signing Cruise Tour departs at 11:30 am on Wednesday September 16 from South Lake Union Park. The second in the series of "Lake Washington 130 Homes" Cruise Tours, departs on September 24th at 11:30 am from Kirkland City Dock in Marina Park, following a different route and includes dozens of additional homes of the rich and famous.  Tickets for the Book Signing Cruise Tour are $21.95 for adults, $8.95 for children (ages 5-11), and free for children younger than 5.
