For Immediate Release:

SEATTLE, WA – May 26, 2009 – This summer Waterways Cruises is adding 21 new Sightseeing Tours and Dining Cruises on Lake Washington and Lake Union each week, departing from new locations on South Lake Union and Kirkland’s Marina Park.

14 daily Cruise Tour© sightseeing cruises will depart from Seattle’s new Lake Union Park and Kirkland’s Marina Park featuring a luxury yacht cruise, an informative captain’s narrative of local sights and Seattle’s landmarks, together with homemade sandwiches, fresh baked cookies and pretzels, and espresso drinks for on-board purchase. With convenient downtown shuttle service to Lake Union Park by the Seattle Lake Union Streetcar, Cruise Tours© provide a great opportunity to experience Seattle from the water, and are affordably priced at $21.95.

“We are excited to launch this new series of daily cruises providing Seattle residents and visitors with unforgettable memories of our beautiful city,” said Hilton Smith, president of Waterways Cruises. “If you have been a guest aboard our private yacht charters or special event cruises, these new sightseeing and dining cruises give you an opportunity to come visit us again for another great cruise experience.”

Saturday’s Dinner/Entertainment Cruise will feature popular local DJs and include complimentary house wine and beer with the price of $69.95.

“Waterways Cruises’ evening dining cruises are definitely a one-of-a-kind experience and a great opportunity to enjoy scenic panoramas of Seattle along with the best in Northwest cuisine,” Smith said. “We are a unique option for family celebrations and get-togethers.”

Waterways will continue offering its popular Sunday Brunch Cruise with the extensive buffet of classic brunch selections priced at $39.95, this summer departing from both Seattle and Kirkland.
