We are currently gearing up for a very busy summer, and fall, and have several full and part time positions available for dishwashers, prep cooks, and banquet/catering cooks. Both day and evening shifts are available.
In addition, we seek experienced people to serve as galley chefs while cruising Lake Washington. Each galley chef is responsible for the successful execution of the selected menu, including final preparation, firing, and assembly aboard one of our vessels.
Specific duties for a galley chef involve loading and unloading all food and necessary tools/equipment, preparation of the event's menu, including artful and exciting presentations for buffet items, timely and attractive plating of sit-down meals, coordinating the opening and replenishment of buffets with the cruise manager, ensuring the timely availability and highest quality of all hot and cold items, salads, appetizers, and other food prepared in the boat's galley, strict adherence to health regulations, and galley cleanup.
We offer a competitive starting wage with increases based on successful completion of initial training and subsequent work performance. In addition, each galley chef receives an equal share of the gratuity pool for events at which he or she worked.
