What a Treat!Waterways Cruises
By Katy H, a Yelp Reviewer

My boyfriend and I took a super-duper ultra romantical trip on a Waterways cruise recently. There are two routes to take and we opted for the Renton route. It was a gorgeous sunny day, lucky us!

Waterways Meals in Motion
By Hedonista

In anticipation of the pending summer season, dear hedonists, it appears that, effective May 13, 2010, Waterways Cruises – founded in 1994 as a one-yacht, family-run charter business – has made some changes. BIG changes:

Waterways went Eastside. Formerly out of Lake Union, Waterways Cruises are now departing out of Renton on Lake Washington.

Waterways created a cruise menu. Waterways Cruises Founder and CEO Hilton Smith conceived of the idea from the former Spirit of Washington Dinner train. 1. You can choose from sunset dinner, weekend brunch, homes and history, happy hour or midnight lake cruises.
2. On the sunset cruise you are greeted by the Captain, handed a glass of Champagne and seated at your table. Then go check out the top deck.
3. The mixed drinks are fabulous. Shaken and stirred to perfection. Try the Blueberry Lemon Drop. Continue reading this review

By Andrew Fickes

When Hilton Smith, founder and chief executive officer of Waterways Cruises, took a trip on the Spirit of Washington Dinner Train four years ago, a waiter’s comment inspired his vision for a Lake Washington dinner cruise business in Renton. He said, "Of course you are going to see wonderful things but not Bill Gates' home, because people like Bill Gates don't build homes on railroad tracks," recalled Smith.

Now Smith is providing a way to see those wealthy estates on their best side – the side facing the water. Continue reading this article
