Waterways Cruises

Waterways Cruises and Events will provide you with a complimentary one-hour planning session to answer any questions you might have as well as discuss the details of your special day. During this time, we will: create a timeline, select a menu, choose beverages, and go over decorations and entertainment options.

After the planning session, your Wedding Coordinator will be available to answer additional questions by phone or email. Once you finalize the details, all information will be communicated to the Event Manager assigned to your event.  On the day of your wedding, The Event Manager will oversee the activities of your event as well as execute any special requirements you have requested.

Menu

We are responsible for all food service during your event, utilizing our exclusive caterer, CaterArts.  The menus we have provided to you represent an array of our favorite selections. We encourage you to choose from these menus as they are presented. If you prefer to customize your menu with additional selections, we will happily work with you to meet your specific needs.  Customized menus start at $25.00 per person.

Final menu selections are required 30 days prior to your event.

Beverage Service

Like most restaurants and hotels, Waterways Cruises and Events has a Class H liquor license and therefore, is responsible for providing all beverage service.  Specialty wines provided by our customers can be opened for a $15 per bottle corkage fee.

Complete beverage service is available at each venue.  A list of all beverages that we serve is available. If you would like something that is not listed, we will be happy to order it especially for you.  All special requests must be ordered by the case 30 days prior to your event and be paid in full at that time.

You may host all or part of the beverage service or your guests may purchase their own. If you choose to host the beverage service, we will require a minimum $10.00 deposit per person paid in advance, two weeks prior to your event.  In addition, we require a credit card validation be maintained on file to pay for the final balance.

Vendors

We have developed a preferred list of Seattle’s top wedding vendors to serve our venues and events. We encourage you to work from this list as we are confident the professionals selected match the standards of the quality we represent. Additionally, they are knowledgeable and experienced with each of our venues.

If you choose to use vendors that do not have preferred status with Waterways, it will be your responsibility to have each of them complete the appropriate vendor release and insurance forms and return them it to us two weeks prior to your wedding date.

Waterways reserves the right to deny any vendor access to its venues that has not completed these forms or has not abided by our terms and conditions at a previous event.

Vendor Access Time

Your vendors may have access to our venues 90 minutes prior to guest arrival. It is during that time they must complete their delivery and set-up. If additional time is required, it may be purchased at an hourly rate subject to availability.

Bride and Groom Access Time

You and your wedding party are permitted access to the venue 60 minutes prior to your scheduled guest arrival time. Additional time required may be purchased at an hourly rate subject to availability.

Rehearsals

If you have chosen to have your ceremony with us, you will be given a complimentary one hour rehearsal time 1-3 days prior to your wedding date.  We make every attempt to have your rehearsal at the venue you have selected for your wedding. However, there will be times when your venue is not available and we reserve the right to substitute another one of our venues for the rehearsal.

Captain

If you have selected a Waterways' captain to perform your ceremony, it is important that you make any changes or revisions to the vows and ceremony at least two weeks prior to your wedding date. We will make every attempt to have the captain performing your ceremony at your rehearsal, schedule permitting. In the event that the captain is not able to attend your rehearsal, your wedding coordinator and/or event manager will be present to execute the rehearsal.

Set up, Clean Up

We recommend that you assign a specific person or persons to oversee the responsibilities of setting up and removing your personal items. You will have thirty minutes from the end of your event to remove all personal property from the venue before additional charges will accrue.

Decorations
